Webb Chapel's Ladies' Ministry utilizes the unique and varied talents of our ladies in several areas of service and also provides an in-depth Bible study on Tuesday mornings during the school year.

Encompassing a wide range of activities, the Ladies' Ministry includes visiting the ill and those confined to their homes, taking birthday cakes to two area nursing homes every month, providing a Valentine Tea for a retirement home, overseeing the Information Desk, sending cards to the ill & bereaved, and assisting the Fellowship Ministry & the PT Crusers with various activities.

Cakes, Cakes, Cakes

Tuesday mornings during the school year

Once each month, ladies of the congregation provide cakes to an area nursing home for the home’s monthly birthday celebration. These “birthday” cakes have been provided for many years and are eagerly anticipated by the residents. If you would like to participate in this activity, contact Janelle Hood, Joan Smith, or the office.

Ladies of the congregation also meet once a month in the Webb Chapel Fellowship Hall to bake cakes for the Main Street Church of Christ, an inner city congregation, which provides Sunday lunch for the area’s homeless and needy every week. The sixteen cakes are the highlight of the month for their luncheons. If you would like to participate in baking or delivering the cakes, contact Carol Nall or the office.

Enhancing the Facilities

Coordinators: LaJuana Dollar & Brenda Lowry

Creating an atmosphere conducive to enjoying whatever activity or event is taking place is the purpose of those who have accepted the task of enhancing our facilities, in particular, the Fellowship Hall and the Information Desk. LaJuana and Brenda select the theme of the décor based on season or event and then meet to arrange the decorations. They also see that items not in use are stored properly to extend their usefulness. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact LaJuana or Brenda.

Information Desk

The Information Desk in the Main Foyer is designed to be a welcoming center for visitors as well as a ready source of updated event information for members. In addition to a friendly face, you will also find a visitor guestbook, Sunday morning & evening sermon outlines, class lists for the current quarter, building maps, extra bulletins, assisted listening devices for English & Spanish members, and many other current activity notices.

The ladies and gentlemen who staff the desk are committed members who greet all comers with a genuine smile and a sincere desire to assist in whatever way they can. Volunteers are present for morning and evening services on Sunday's and as needed on Wednesday evenings. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact Cam Holland.
