Ladies' Class

9:30 am, Tuesday mornings, Fellowship Hall

Each Tuesday morning during the school year, the ladies of Webb Chapel meet in the Fellowship Hall for Bible study and fellowship with each other. Teachers rotate frequently allowing various teaching styles to encourage different perspectives on study objectives. This fall, Joyce Hahn will be teaching about the book of James, and the spring session will be led by Tommie Cain on the book of Philippians. A brief break occurs in the winter for the Christmas & New Year's holidays, and a longer break occurs over the summer months to accomodate those with school-age children who are out of school for the summer. Child care is available, upon request.

Christmas Party

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good time at the Ladies' Class Christmas party

Dressed in their favorite Christmas attire, Ladies' Class meets at the home of Webb Chapel member Sue Camp for a Christmas brunch and gift exchange. Delicious food, Christmas carols, holiday games, and sharing Christmas plans and memories are just some of the activities that take place at this fun event. Occasionally, former members will drive into town specifically for this party.

The Christmas Party is the last time the ladies meet before winter break, and it is an exciting time for all. New Year's will come and go before Ladies' Class begins again, and while the break is welcome, the spring session is always something to anticipate!

Each February, the Ladies’ Class hosts a tea for the residents of Forest Dale Apartments, a nearby retirement home. The Valentine Tea is a years-long tradition. The ladies spend preceding weeks preparing a gift bag for each resident as well as planning and preparing decorations and baking for the event. Homemade light refreshments are served for the highly anticipated event. Wearing red is encouraged!

Spring Party

Spring is a time for renewal and in North Texas, a time for much welcome and unexpected rain! The Spring Party, once again at Sue Camp's home, is the last event of the Ladies' Class calendar year before breaking for the summer months.

Spring Party table decorationsTables decked out in spring colors and themes, delicious food, and good fellowship are just a few reasons for the ladies to attend the Spring Party. Ladies of all ages are welcome to attend and join in festivities. Spring is the calm before the chaos of summer. This party can serve as a relaxing and fun time before the heat sets in, vacations are planned and taken, holidays and cookouts, and so much more.
