50th Anniversary Reunion

July 1 & 2, 2006

Webb Chapel celebrated fifty years in 2006 with a celebration weekend. We sincerely thank each WCCC member from the past and present member who came either one or both days to our 50th Anniversary Celebration which was held July 1 & 2, 2006. We also thank those who wrote letters, phoned, emailed, and sent pictures even though they could not attend. Listing all who shared in our celebration in any way would be impossible.

 

 

Schedule of Events

Many former members came back specifically for the celebration and several from quite far away!

Saturday, July 1 — 4:00 – 8:00pm — Fellowship Hall

A time to visit and reacquaint ourselves with former members. The event was strictly casual --- just a time to relax and visit. A meal was be served.

Sunday, July 2 — Events all day!

Sunday services were arranged and scheduled by R. Wayne White.

9 am Combined Adult Class in the Auditorium, Speaker: Jarrell Gibbs, former WC elder

10 am Combined Worship, Speaker: Lyle Asbill, Minister, Grapevine Church of Christ; Song Leader: Chris Mosley, Former WC song leader

11:30-1:30 pm Lunch in the Fellowship Hall

2-3:30 pm Singing in the Auditorium, Speakers: Tim Pyles, Minister, McDermott Church of Christ; Steve Belden, former WC member, member of the Board of Directors at York College; Bob Phelps, Mayor, City of Farmers Branch; and Ben Myers, Minister, Greenville Avenue Church of Christ

3:30-5 pm Reception in the Fellowship Hall

5 pm Devotional in the Auditorium, Speaker: Joe McKissick, former WC minister
